Your Choice Ceremonies

I believe every couple is different therefore every ceremony is different. I work with you, getting to know you in the months leading up to your special day so that your wedding is as individual and as unique as you are. I love to work with couples from all backgrounds and heritages and create something very personal and meaningful for yourselves, your families and your friends.
From our initial meeting, the planning process allows time for the exploration of your wishes and ideas around the kind of wedding ceremony that you, as a couple, might want.
My ceremonies vary in style and content and can be written in a ‘humanist’ style i.e., with no religious or spiritual content at all or we can incorporate a mixture of religious, spiritual and symbolic content to reflect your beliefs, your values and your personalities.
One of the greatest joys of creating an independent celebrant-led ceremony is that almost anything goes. People often ask questions such as:

Can we choose to have our ceremony in an alternative location, in our garden, a park or a forest? On a beach, by a stream or up a mountain?
Can we include religious, faith-based and cross-cultural traditions?
Can we have children and pets as part of our wedding party?
Can we write our own vows?
Can we incorporate elements such as handfasting, unity candles, wine sharing, jumping the broom or family blending?
The answer to all of these questions is: YES!

I will discuss your wish list with you and do whatever is possible to make it happen. We can combine different types of ceremony and work together to make this the occasion of dreams
