Fully qualified Civil Celebrant with First Class Honours Degree including English and Drama specialism, national public speaker familiar with radio and television. Previously, an award winning head teacher, hence a safe adult to work with children (enhanced DBS) and a successful published author. Also a Masters Degree level 5 trained coach, hence an interested and supportive listener.
From initial contact, our face to face meeting will enable us to establish how I can bring your dreams to your wedding reality.
I usually work across Herts, Beds, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Buckinghamshire, but can travel nationally or internationally further afield if required.
I only have one ceremony in any day, 2 in any week as prefer to have my clients as my total priority.
No photographs would be including any client, without prior permission.

I can work with you to create a civil partnership or wedding celebration ceremony, once you have a register of marriage. This usually happens via a registry office appointment and is the cheapest legal option with 2 witnesses. The celebration ceremony can include rings, vows, music and all traditional features of the traditional wedding, but without restrictions on time, content and venue.
Likewise for a civil partnership, this legality is formalised via a registry office, but celebrated with all the flair, sparkle and creativity to reflect your wishes by me, Debra Massey, the Hand On Heart Celebrant.
Those wishing to have a commitment ceremony do not need a legal formality and can be planned to accommodate 2 people being recognised as a couple, without legal constraints.

From first point of contact, you have me personally to plan your special ceremony: your day, your way remains my priority. After meeting face to face (I prefer this personal approach to questionnaires) we will determine a broad outline of ideas and I will have gained lots of unique detail as to your love story. You may have ideas for reading and music, or I can suggest some for your consideration. Likewise whether, special adults, children - or a 'fur baby' has a necessary role, we can discuss options possible.
Inclusion of symbolic actions are key and I can advise on all forms of these, including introductions such as warming or rings, cocktail mixing, hand fasting and so much more.
I will send you a draft outline of the ceremony and later the actual ceremony, with additional detail. Copies of vows and readings, plus any resources you would like me to source, I can deliver on the day.
I can also offer a Souvenir script keepsake and can be available for coordinating other aspects of your day if required.
