Set in Oxfordshire, on the banks of the River Thames, Greenlands at Henley is a wonderful venue for a truly memorable wedding. The grand white building stands majestically, surrounded by the stunning sunken gardens and rolling lawns which stretch down to the riverbank.
The gorgeous grounds, paired with the stunning views of the river, provide the most beautiful backdrops for both your big day and important wedding photographs. For your civil ceremony, we have two fantastic licensed rooms. The feature rooms can accommodate up to 120 guests in a tranquil setting. You also have the option of holding a grand reception outside in a fully-heated marquee which is perfect for weddings all year round.
Civil ceremonies without food or drinks start from £2000 +VAT, however if you choose to make the most of your day at Henley Greenlands and hold your reception or breakfast with us, our inclusive packages start at just £99 per person.

Our beautiful riverside location paired with the gorgeous
grounds offers an amazing outdoor spot alongside the
river for a marquee wedding.
If you've got your heart set on a marquee wedding, our ground hire fee is £4,166.67 (£5,000 inclusive of VAT) and gives you access to a flat area alongside the river benefitting from complimentary parking and bookable accommodation at our hotel.
Marquees not only look beautiful, they also mean you can invite more than 120 guests and have additional flexibility with your catering, bar etc.
With a marquee wedding you have the flexibility to bring in your own caterers as well as sourcing your own marquee, generator, bar, toilets etc. Use of the main house is not permitted with a marquee wedding and other events may be taking place within the main house.
We would allow setup of a marquee the Thursday before the wedding and ask for full removal of all equipment/marquee by
the day after on a Sunday.
At Greenlands you are spoilt for choice! You can opt to use the
main house or the beautiful grounds (or both!). You can hire the grounds for a marquee wedding or hold your wedding inside and use the grounds for your drinks reception, games, photos etc.
We’ve even catered onboard a boat for smaller events.
Whatever you decide, our idyllic riverside location paired with the gorgeous grounds offers a picturesque backdrop for your day.
Our wedding packages include the hire of the Heyworth for your wedding breakfast and evening party. If you are not getting married in a church and don’t want a registry office, we can host the wedding in one of our ceremony rooms, that way guests can fully enjoy the whole venue without the worry of getting from one venue to the other.
